1/ There is a major problem here. He says the problem with Fox News is the “opinion hosts.” This: 1) perpetuates the Fox News spin that there their supposed “news” division is legit; 2) it misses the actual threat that Fox presents day in and day out.
2/ Fox New’s supposed news side is just as bad as the opinion. Not recognizing that is dangerous; and pretending otherwise is destructive.
3/ On the charlottesville, it was Fox News “news” programming that reported that the guy drove his car into the crowd out of self defense. Trump then went to mic shortly after to talk about both sides.
4/ It was Fox’s “news” side that also fueled Seth Rich murder conspiracies.
5/ It was Fox’s “news” side that actually had a leaked memo where the chief was instructing program staff to lie about climate change.
6/ I could do this all night. My point is: it’s one thing to partner with Fox News for a town hall. But now, we have a dem candidate perpetuating the demonstrably false notion that Fox’s news side is fine and it’s just the opinion people that are the problem. This concerns me
