.@SebDance on the money here. It’s unbelievable we are still getting this it’ll be alright in the night no-deal wto rubbish from Parliamentarians like Jenkins who are paid by us to understand these things and make sensible decisions
The no-deal scenario has not changed. There is a reason why parliament has a majority against no-deal and there is a reason why EVEN the government who want us to brexit did but prepare for no-deal.
It’s because it’s insane. Not only do we lose our frictionless trade with the EU we lose ALL our trade deals and trading arrangements we currently have. 
So let’s say we do that - brexit folk say we trade on WTO but here’s the thing, we will still need to make deals. It will be utter chaos. We will have to negotiate stuff to replace all this. It will literally take years and cost us millions and millions and millions
Moreover brexit folk say under no-deal we don’t pay our dues ie the divorce bill. Well when we try to negotiate what comes next we will be a nation which does not pay its dues - nice opening negotiating position? I think not.
Don’t let this fantasy brexit story go unchallenged. Brexit won’t end with no-deal because something has to fill the void and it will be years of new recipes with puffin meat from the Faroe Islands and grey faced politicians hawking our public services to the highest bidder.
