No 10-“Andrea Leadsom has served with distinction + great ability as a member of the government, and the Prime Minister is grateful for all of her work. We are disappointed that she has chosen to resign + the PM remains focused on delivering the Brexit people voted for.”
Quite separately, a lot of people in the Commons on all sides, will remember how Leadsom worked v hard to try to crack down on bullying and harassment on staff and everyone who works in the crazy westminster village
Also tho hard not to see her resignation tonight in context of her own potential interest in having another crack at the top job
