@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter Trump always plays the victim. He uses victimhood as pretext for both inaction (incompetency), and action (a distraction for or justification/rationalization of egregious behavior). 1/
@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter Clearly, Trump doesn’t feel shame from a “values” (moral) standpoint….but he does fear being publicly shamed over what he values most (Money): being exposed as a financial fraud. 2/
@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter In the last two days, A Federal court ordered Trump’s old accounting firm to turn over his financials, and New York passed legislation that allows the state to give Congress his tax returns. Unlike the Congressional subpoena fight where he dictates the obstinance & defiance,...3/
@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter ....in both of these cases, he is not in control, or in position to defy the order/law. As a result, the threat and fear of his “successful”, billionaire façade being pierced may be triggering him. 4/
@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter He also may have been triggered by having to engage Nancy Pelosi.... Either because of how poorly he’s looked in previous government shutdown negotiations (inadequacy), the fact that she’s a woman (emasculation), or both. 5/
@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter In an attempt to placate, Pelosi is starting to publicly give the impression that she’s warming up to the idea of impeachment. As much as it seems Trump desires the political and media anarchy/circus of Impeachment proceedings, he still has to have some degree of fear. 6/
@Fuacata66 @AlbertoCairo @brianstelter Perhaps there’s an internal masochistic tension between his compulsion for chaos and disruption, his pathological need for the unparalleled attention/spotlight that an impeachment proceeding would create/shine, and his sociopathic desire for self-preservation at all costs... 7/
