DOJ Inspector General says a former FBI deputy assistant director improperly revealed information from a sealed court file and "law enforcement sensitive" information to the press. The DAD also improperly accepted a ticket to a media dinner. oig.justice.gov/reports/2019/f…
This is one of the investigations that grew out of the IG's examination of the Clinton email investigation.

"Prosecution of the DAD was declined."
The Inspector General's report has a really good visualization of a reporter doing his or her job.

Judge Sullivan had ordered the Justice Department to produce "transcripts of any other audio recordings of Mr. Flynn, including, but not limited to, audio recordings of Mr. Flynn's conversations with Russian officials."

DOJ responded with this ->
DOJ isn't saying here that it does or does not have a recording of Flynn's conversations with the Russian ambassador. It's saying that it's not relying on recordings to establish his guilt (he pleaded) and none is part of the sentencing record.

Asked if he agrees with President Trump that James Comey, Andrew McCabe and other former FBI officials committed treason, Attorney General William Barr replied: "Not as a legal matter, no."

Barr also said a review by Utah's U.S. attorney of issues "that relate to Hillary Clinton" is "winding down and hopefully we'll be able to bring that to fruition." He did not elaborate.
Barr wondered why "the media doesn't seem to think that it's worth looking into" the FBI's counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.

We have been in litigation with DOJ for access to some of these records for two years; the government has refused to disclose them.

New OIG finding on a former FBI Deputy Assistant Director for unauthorized & illegal leaking.
It certainly appears to be Peter Strzok as it is out of the OIG MYE report & includes sealed info.
DOJ declined prosecution, but that may be due to cooperation.

OIG found last summer that Strzok was sending information from a sealed warrant to his personal email. This leak investigation was information from a sealed document.
Note the different evidentiary standards used by OIG & criminal trials.
A criminal prosecution requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt that the crime was committed. An OIG finding of Misconduct only requires evidence that more than 50% of the evidence showed that a crime was committed.

Rather than “target,” Strzok characterized Clinton at the time as “a critical player” in the investigation, dubbed “Mid-Year Exam,” leading to the revelation that “The server was run by a variety of entities and used by people including the Clinton Foundation, and Bill Clinton.”
