Yes, we all hate Trump and want to believe stories like this, but its use of anonymous sources and passive voice is problematic. Yes, the request was made, but WHO made the request is the most important part of the story, and it's missing.
This part of a supposed email is going around, but it's obvious been cherry picked removing any context that might exonerate Trump's side of the discussion. In particular, it deliberately removed WHO sent it. 
Yes, Trump is a child unfit for the office, as we can see in his own actions, speeches, and tweets. I don't need obviously flawed stories to confirm my belief in this.
