1/ interesting to re-read Rosenstein's Special Counsel appointment letter. R stated that he (R) was obliged to conduct "a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election”. So why not Steele's "Russian" sources?

2/ Sean Hannity and many others believe that Steele had actual Russian sources (as opposed to mere fabrications by Fusion or Orbis operatives). Why haven't they been investigated? Was Mueller negligent? Or was Rosenstein negligent?

3/ Mueller's assignment was to continue “investigation confirmed by” Comey to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, INCLUDING “any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals associated with" Trump campaign

4/ Note that Mueller's assignment INCLUDED but was not LIMITED TO links and/or coordination between Russia and Trump campaign. It did NOT exclude investigation of links and/or coordination between Russia and Clinton campaign.

5/ what is Mueller's excuse for not investigating Steele sources and sub-sources as potential interference? And instead, diverting time and energy of important investigation into unrelated financial proctology of Manafort and Cohen and unrelated FARA of Flynn and Papadop.

6/ and why was Rosenstein's supervision so lax that he failed to require Mueller to spend time and attention on investigation of potential interference by Steele sources and subsources?

7/ bottom line is that three years after opening of Crossfire Hurricane, DOJ and FBI have failed to conduct "a full and thorough investigation" of all interference allegations, due to their total negligence in respect to examination of Steele sources and subsources.

8/ in saying this, I am skeptical that Steele information was obtained from "Russian" state sources. I think that it is more likely that it was fabricated by US, UK, Ukrainian or expat opposition. But this needs to be known. Mueller had resources to find out, but failed miserably
