If @JoeBiden was just going to make the same mistakes that he made in his prior presidential campaigns, he could have saved us all the trouble. The climate crisis is serious enough that he should take the time to present some—to be kind—original thinking. businessinsider.com/joe-biden-clim…
@JoeBiden The excuse that Biden's campaign offers—that they merely didn't cite the sources—seems suspect. How do you copy the exact same sentence, stick your candidate's name on it, put it in the body of your proposal, proofread it, release it, and then say, "oops, we meant to credit you?"
This @mattfleg piece looking back at Biden’s 1988 campaign is good context for this, and not just because of the plagiarism. I’d actually forgotten that he had falsely claimed repeatedly, on television, that he’d marched in the civil rights movement. nyti.ms/2IdFTum
@mattfleg (Not that it matters whether Biden or any official "marched in the civil rights movement" on a particular day or days so much as whether he used his lofty position as a politician to enact the very systemic change people were fighting for, but I digress.)
