A resounding yes!!! Allow me to elaborate why I endorse this whole-heartedly and then point out barriers to this sensible proposal.
2. Jillian Kay Melchior, a senior fellow at the Independent Women's Forum, wrote about this a couple of years ago. I was quite impressed with her research and presentation, so I am directly drawing upon her work to support this policy proposal.
3. Removing the pharmacy-counter barrier between women and their birth control would give them vastly more, not less, power over their own health-care choices, also reducing health-care costs and improving access.

This entire book is based on Naomi Wolf (an American liberal progressive feminist author, journalist, and former political advisor to Al Gore and Bill Clinton) misunderstanding a British legal term ("death recorded") which meant just the opposite of what she thought it did.
Naomi thought "death recorded" meant the person was executed, and proceeded to write a whole book about how so many people in Britain were executed for being homosexuals. She described case after case after case. Turns out not a single person was executed. 1/
In British courts, beginning in 1823, a sentence of "death recorded" meant that the judge was abstaining from voicing a sentence of capital punishment in cases where the judge foresaw that a royal pardon would be forthcoming if a proper death sentence were to be issued. 2/

1. The Democrat rank-and-file appear to be shocked into silence by the release of the Mueller report and subsequent exoneration of @POTUS for “collusion” and obstruction of justice allegations.
2. Are they merely suffering through Kübler-Ross’s five stages of grief and still stuck on stage one (denial), or are they contemplating direct action through their various activist organizations?
3. With the Smollett farce and the national crisis on the border, false flags and other activities are a distinct possibility in the near future. What would it take to spark a street protest of some kind? School will be out in a couple of months, and summertime is protest time.
