This is the same all round. Nearly all of them are basically proposing the same approach as May. Renegotiate backstop. No deal better than a bad deal. It's like we rewound the clock to winter.
McVey and Leadsom want no-deal. Gyimah wants second referendum. Others fall pretty much within May plan. Even Stewart hasn't talked openly about single market/customs union.
Am I being unfair to Stewart? I obviously like the sound of what he's selling. But what's the actual policy at the end of it? Citizen assembly? Would be helpful to hear him outline an optimal end point.
