Biden Puts Liberalism Over His Religious Faith
In a dramatic reversal, Joe Biden last night said that he "no longer supports a ban on federal funding for abortions, known as the Hyde Amendment."

Not that I would want him to make political decisions based on his religion, but ...
"A senior Biden campaign official said some aides were surprised at the speed of the reversal, given Biden's long history of explaining his abortion positions in terms of his faith."

Hence, Biden is the one who claimed his previous position was faith-based. So what changed?
Some would say liberalism is Biden's religion now.
So you could say Biden is a Born Again Liberal Democrat (no acronyms please!).
Well, if you must acronymize, be sure to add "-faced liar" to it. :-)

Trump once again proved his detractors wrong. In a few short weeks, hard numbers will provide evidence whether this success is for real.

"Safe Third Country" is the principle that asylum-seekers must apply for asylum in the first safe country where they land. That means Mexico would absorb those fleeing Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. Those refused asylum in Mexico won't be eligible for asylum in the U.S.

A resounding yes!!! Allow me to elaborate why I endorse this whole-heartedly and then point out barriers to this sensible proposal.
2. Jillian Kay Melchior, a senior fellow at the Independent Women's Forum, wrote about this a couple of years ago. I was quite impressed with her research and presentation, so I am directly drawing upon her work to support this policy proposal.
3. Removing the pharmacy-counter barrier between women and their birth control would give them vastly more, not less, power over their own health-care choices, also reducing health-care costs and improving access.

Report stage of the #legisl8 bill has resumed where we left it off last night: Carol Nolan's amendments which seek to ban abortion as a public health service and make women pay, except for in cases where the woman's life is at risk.
Mattie McGrath is complaining that anti-abortion TDs are being portrayed as delaying the bill. Danny Healy Rae is also now speaking, to also complain about being portrayed as holding up the bill.
Michael Collins is also now on his feet, to speak on this amendment for the second time. He claims that pro-choice TDs were using "bully boy tactics" last night, and he is very unhappy about it. Michael Healy Rae says he thinks there were personal attacks against Carol Nolan.
