What in the burning hell does "corporate socialism" even mean? Stop making up nonsensical phrases because you have some sort of congenital predilection for sprinkling 'socialism' like confetti over and around everything. If you mean corporate welfare, to hell with it. Abolish it.
By the way, @BernieSanders, no one indulges in corporate welfare like Obama did. He was the one doling out money to Solyndra, General Motors, Health Insurance companies, etc. Letting taxpayers keep more of their own earnings is not welfare. Giving people taxpayers' money is.
Liberals and leftists have no policy ideas they can actually sell to Americans. So blowhards like @BernieSanders spend all their time inventing words and phrases or giving new meaning to old and well understood words and phrases, because their only abiding creed is 'narratives.'

Oh wow! The Speaker of the House is using her deranged take on President Trump's perfectly reasonable remarks to promote #HR1 which is otherwise known as Democrat Political Protection Act.
Please allow Mitch McConnel to explain what's in it.
2. #HR1 is all about Democrats angling for more control over what you can say about them and how they get reelected.

NPR Slanders Trump Admin
NPR Headline: "Trump Wants To Limit Aid For Low-Income Americans."
How? By more rigorously checking that the aid is only given to needy and deserving Americans, and not as much to illegal aliens. No fucking kidding!
There's more. NPR breathlessly lists a whole slew of measures that Trump admin is considering to, as the headline puts it, 'Limit Aid for Low-Income Americans.'

Among those measures that stick in NPR's craw is this: "Add citizenship question to 2020 census."

Unbelievable!
Trump admin is doing everything right as detailed in the article itself, the stinking headline notwithstanding. Don't we all want the govt to spend our tax dollars wisely and make sure financial aid is only provided to Americans who need and deserve it?

#Socialism and #environmentalism are a perfect match. Socialism can’t result in anything but poverty, misery, and death. Environmentalism says precisely that is what’s necessary to “save the planet.” Thus, environmentalism sets a standard of success that even socialism can pass.
If socialism wins, then a few generations from now, some of our starving descendants, walking among the ruins of capitalist civilization and inspired to try to recreate some of the wonders of the past, will be stopped by environmentalism’s taboos against “harming the planet.”
The planet they will be afraid of “harming” will be one whose remaining inhabited areas are covered by and reek of the stench of human and animal waste, as was the case in the towns and villages of the Dark Ages.

If you want to accurately understand the current situation, you have to realize that Donald Trump’s life is already over. He’s going to prison the second he’s no longer in office. Assets seized too. His actions will be dictated by whether he understands his life is already over.
If Trump has deluded himself into believing that things are okay for him, or that he can magically info his already-sealed fate, he’ll take one approach. If he’s just coherent enough to understand that he’s already lost and his life is over, he’ll take a very different approach.
Trump will not magically win in 2020 with an approval rating in the gutter. Trump will not magically save himself by refusing to leave office after losing. He will not magically avoid the criminal charges already stacked against him. This is just reality.

It was in the fall of 1994 in Racine, Wisconsin. I had messed up & missed my immigration court hearing in Chicago because I was sitting in the local county jail like an idiot on some bullshit charges that were later dismissed but not before I sat there for a few months.
I was scared to death. I didn’t know what to do. I was 23 years old. Had a beautiful 20 year old American wife & a new born infant son. But I’m in deep trouble cause I missed my Immigration Court hearing for my Asylum application. I had no money for a lawyer. I was poor.
