You know what would be smart?

Maybe state legislatures should pass legislation granting State's Attorneys the option to prosecute elected officials for federal crimes in the event political BS at the top corrupts the federal judicial process...
... so long as there is a nexus between the state and the elected official - like if the official was ever on the ballot in that state, or campaigned in that state.
So, like, if Barr is blocking prosecution of any elected officials for laundering foreign cash, or FARA violations, or anything that currently isn't a crime at the indiv State level because it's usu managed by the Federal govt, respective states can hold officials accountable.
