In the segment Trump just tweeted about, Fox informed him that "history will tell you Iran only responds to strength," that a U.S. military strike on Iran wouldn't lead to a war, and that "we've got to have enough resolve to stand up" to them like Ronald Reagan.
The president of the United States just tweeted the chyron from a Fox News segment that encouraged a U.S. military strike on Iran.

Tucker Carlson’s insipid accusation of anti-Trump “collusion” by The New York Times is a great example of the disinformation Fox News constantly emits to keep its audience hating the mainstream press. mediamatters.org/blog/2019/06/2…
Unlike a lot of other right-wing Fox commentators, Carlson has worked at mainstream outlets. He had to know the Judicial Watch/Washington Examiner hit on Michael Schmidt was nonsense. He pushed it anyway.

Fox ethics stories over the last week:
1) Daily Beast reports Tucker was advising Trump on Iran.
2) Judge releases Hannity texts telling Manafort they are "on the same team."
3) WaPo reports Pirro told Trump that Stone was planning to quit, letting Trump save face by firing him.
We seem to have reached the point where its so obvious that Fox and Trump have merged and the network is state TV that these stories barely muster any attention, since we all know Fox doesn't care about media ethics and won't rein its people in.

Right, so, here's the bottom line: The US has worked itself into a position whose likely outcomes are (a) war (b) internal regime change or (c) lasting damage to U.S. global leadership. I think we're heading for the latter. But first, I want to back up and review how we got here
For about 30 years, the U.S. & Iran maintained a cold, uncomfortable peace, generally content to hurl no more than invective at each other. Even in #Iraq, where #IRGC-backed militias attacked US forces, the two found their strategic interests aligned more often than not.

1. Iran releases video of their shooting down the United States' RQ-4A, the $180 Million dollar unmanned drone which was patrolling the straights to keep commercial shipping lanes safe from attack.
2. The Pentagon had hours earlier shown a map indicating that the drone was shot down in international waters.
3. Notice that the Iranian video has falsely centered the white circle, not around where the drone was shot down: Screen shot from Iranian video (1., above).
