Tucker Carlson’s insipid accusation of anti-Trump “collusion” by The New York Times is a great example of the disinformation Fox News constantly emits to keep its audience hating the mainstream press. mediamatters.org/blog/2019/06/2…
Unlike a lot of other right-wing Fox commentators, Carlson has worked at mainstream outlets. He had to know the Judicial Watch/Washington Examiner hit on Michael Schmidt was nonsense. He pushed it anyway.
In the days surrounding Carlson's description of Schmidt as a "lackey" and a "snitch," these stories broke about his network:
Fox media criticism is based on denouncing the press by falsely attributing to real journalists the unethical behavior its own hosts practice. That’s simply part of its business model.
