My challenge of the night: create an app for #BHUSA 1/
The 1st challenge is to get the data. At @BlackHat there is 4 types of sessions:
- arsenal
- briefings
- sponsored-sessions
- training

After extracting the data from their website, I imported everything in a Firebase Realtime Database 3/
It's time to code the #Android app! 4/

We have to believe that everything is possible. Even if we fail, we will be on the good side of the history and we will be able to explain to our kids that we saw it coming and fight it as much as we can. Knowing that we will lose is not an excuse to not go to the fight.

It has recently come to my attention that @InfosecScribe and thus @secjuice have been running a campaign to entice #blackhat hackers to confess crimes to them purely to profit off a book that will be written. STAY. AWAY. FROM. THIS.
They profess that they will take these stories and "anonymize" them. They are seriously fucking n00bs if they think that any amount of anonymization will protect their fucking sources. If you snitch on yourself, that is on you, but i fucking implore you not to.
If you are a hacker, you should know better than to want fame. Black or white hat, that's never the point. Do not let your fucking egos get the best of you. Because you will be burned. You will be imprisoned.

I thought I’d know all the stuff in this talk and just went to see @Lipner. But nope...Dr Lipner is still dropping new knowledge. #bhusa @SAFECode
If you’re not big enough to “do everything” this talk is for you. My key points:

1. Have a vuln response process, use it to learn, and fix more than just what’s reported.
2. Devs are accountable for writing secure code—don’t “test it in.”
3. Do RCAs
4. Track SDL in the mainstream bug tracking workflow you track other bugs in.
5. Have a bug bar — exploitability matters.
6. Secure your 3rd party code. If you ship it, it’s your problem.
