The amount of untreated sewage pouring out of every orifice in this country. It's hard to believe that 30 million people can be as stupid as this all at once.

No. English journalism is nothing more than public school masturbation. It does not inquire into anything, it provides no information. All it does is give you a regular fix of emotion and hysteria.

Basically the country just sits in a puddle of its own piss day after day, screeching and howling about it.
It sits there waiting to be spoonfed what to think. It makes no effort to advance its own thinking

Why are we still seeing people screeching and howling "It's no deeeeeeeeel. It's going to be no deeeeeeeeel."

What I don't understand is why you invest your politicians with these almost mystical powers.

There is no reason to keep screeching and screaming at each other that politicians are going to destroy the country on a whim.

You sound like medieval peasants who think the gods are going to destroy the world just for a joke.

What is it, does it give people a sense of high drama to invest their politicians with these kind of powers.

There is no need to take everything politicians say so seriously.
They are not going to destroy the country. The only reason they keep saying it is because you keep responding to it.

Because this has been going on for three fucking years now. The country seems to have turned into a fucking zombie. It's lost all power of coherent thought.
