1/ California Bar to consider proposal concerning Legal Tech and the Unauthorized Practice of Law: Should approved entities be able to "to use technology-driven delivery systems to engage in authorized practice of law activities."

2/ I've long worried that legal tech companies that provide analytics could be swept up in UPL suits. That the bar will authorize *some* entities to use this technology suggests that unauthorized entities will not be able to use this technology.
3/ Don't scoff at France's ban on legal analytics. State Bars could achieve similar goals through UPL Laws
