The text in the statement in the OP was unclear, so to clarify - I don't have any magic means of getting access to the concentration camps. Like many others with #CitizenPresence, I'm going to stand at doors, fences, and gates, pray, sing, glower, and bear witness.
At this point, the plan is to observe medical visits at the Casa del Migrante in Juarez; attend the vigil in Clint (hopefully I'll read/say something there if there's room on the stack); maybe go to another ICE facility; definitely read poetry out loud.

@AHouseElPaso People on the ground with #CitizenPresence in #ElPaso have been turned away from the El Paso Processing Center, saying they have no right to be on Federal property. Practically speaking, I suppose if armed thugs tell one to leave, one has to leave.

@AHouseElPaso One thing definitely on the agenda is a vigil in Clint, the site of one of the child #concentrationcamps, tonight at 7. Vigil in Hebrew is "shmirah," which means "watching" or "guarding." (Like the Latin/English.) Just watching. Just keeping eyes on the thugs and thinking of kids

In an anti-ICE thread it's relevant to mention that Johns Hopkins gets money from ICE to be complicit with them. I told a bunch of people about that this week, and they were shocked.

I think the opening of my op-ed is this: the police asked how we protesters were, there on the dusty highway outside the ICE camp. But all day we had seen evidence of people our country wants to disappear without regard to their existence. Shut away in camps and deported.
I don't know if it's lack of sleep or what, but I'm thinking of Larkin's Aubade and I think I'm going to cry in the El Paso Airport. (I'm personally fine.)

I was so glad to see Opal and Abby from Baltimore who came to Clint under their own initiative. Opal was arrested in the raid on @TheGarlandSitIn and forcibly misgendered by Baltimore Police.
