Me : Oh, no. I don't know the place at all. That's business / conference travel for you. It's a pretty dreadful way to see the world unless you can create actual time to visit.

... if you really want to see the world, if you really want to appreciate it ... you need to use your feet. No airlines, no cars ... just walk.
It's why, when I get time ... I go for gentle 7 to 8 hour walks. You never see a place in the back of a car or plane, you just get a few photo opportunities.
