Me : Spend 6 months playing World of Warcraft. You'll learn about maps, co-operation, communication, setting direction & intent, basic strategy & motivation and a bit about culture without destroying a company.
Me : Does it include 6 months playing World of Warcraft?
X : No.
Me : Do that first. The tool won't be there forever and business schools will be flogging certificates for many decades to come.
Me : Well, if you act like a plonker (many do) then you'll find yourself in a very lonely guild. No-one stays because you're paying them a salary, they only stay and put in effort because they believe in in the guild / the community and you.
Me : Real power should reside as far away as possible from the CEO.
X : That doesn't make any sense.
Me : Go build a guild with a few thousand players and it soon will.
