4/ Berger meant he had positive feelings or friendly feeling toward Hamas. Not even close. Presumebaly, hopefully through ignorance @simonwiesenthal provided a quote and attached itself to this smear. That’s gross and really requires an apology.
5/ Same goes for Rabbi Abraham Cooper. I don’t know @maxberger that well. I’d call him an acquaintance. I also have a fairly different politics. But I’ve known him for maybe a decade and he has a deep commitment to Jewish values and abhorrence of anti-Semitism,

7/ Shapiro fail even though it was years and years ago. This is a disgrace and it’s gross and a product of liars and I hope for the @simonwiesenthal center’s sake they just got scammed by liars because they owe their mission an apology, in addition to @maxberger.
8/ If someone wants to say Max spoke too flippantly about Hamas that wld still be dumb because again it ignores the context. But it wouldn’t be an egregious act of willful lying and effort to deceive readers. And that’s what this is.
