Sorry. That's not how maths works. Democracy isn't about catering to the "majority of the majority". If even 7% of Brexit voters don't want No-Deal... No-Deal has no majority.
And guess whose figures I'm relying on to tie off this argument with a beautiful little bow and prove that there is no majority in the country for a #NoDealBrexit?

Isn't that just beautiful? Nigel Farage and @TiceRichard providing the very evidence that proves that their one policy isn't wanted by the majority of the UK? It's bloody poetic! 😁

Ultimately Brexit creates a new EU-UK relationship. Did we know what it would be in 2016? Would all Brexit voters prefer the deal we negotiated to just staying? No?

Ending our current EU-UK relationship for a specific new one needs informed democratic consent.

A) Even if it's 50.001%, a vote where people get to see the precise Brexit on offer overrides one where they don't.
B) 17. 4M supported many different versions of Brexit. Now there's only one I EXPECT fewer Leave voters.
I honestly hate the fact that politicians keep peddling that ridiculous argument as if people are too stupid to see that a vote after we've negotiated the terms of our exit isn't the same as a vote in the dark.

Richard Tice reassured millions of ordinary working people they could vote Brexit without being financially harmed because there was a legal certainty that we would leave WITH A DEAL.

But Tice is the Chief Executive of Quidnet Capital and former multinational CEO. He'll be fine.
This is why I KNOW the @brexitparty_uk are the bad guys.

Because if you know people are already struggling in this country, and you know you reassured them they'd be OK if they voted Brexit by promising we'd do it with a deal, to push for No Deal requires total moral bankruptcy.
I'm not angry that Richard Tice represents the elite that many working class Brexit voters wanted to take back control from.

Privilege isn't the problem. Further disadvantaging the already disadvantaged from a position of privilege... THAT is the problem.

#Brexit as a concept is increasingly drifting from having anything whatsoever to do with the mechanics of leaving the EU. It is now primarily a culture war and both sides will totally ignore the details except for when they are temporarily convenient.
The consequence of this is that our future relationship with the EU will be just as readily ignored as our activities as a member. They said Brexit would make us isolated, self absorbed and insular but it seems that was always the case and there are no signs of that changing.
As ever the details will be delegated to officials and civil servants while our establishment politics drifts further into its cycle of decline, unable to usefully influence external events making us entirely passive and reactive to events rather than self-interestedly engaged.
