I understand Trump is a menace. I can't stand the assclown myself. However, it's important for us to look at what caused his rise to power and address some serious issues. There were some awful shit happening before he got elected that we swept under the rug or ignored..A Thread
Anyone telling you to "just get Trump out" is out of touch with the majority of Americans and doesn't have your best interest at heart. We need a total redo of our entire system. Here are a list of problems we had before Trump:
1. Poisoned Water (Flint,MI Cape Fear,NC Warren, PA Baltimore, Cleveland and Philadelphia are MAJOR hot spots) scientificamerican.com/article/thousa…

6. Health Care. This problem needs to be addressed ASAP. The fact that people in this country die of preventable diseases and are unable to afford life saving medicine is govt malpractice. washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-h…
7. Criminal Justice. America has a private prison industry. We all know when something becomes private, the goal is to make $$ and that means jailing people for the sake of it. Our fed and state prisons are a mess and it was set up to be this way. washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-par…
8. Racial disparities in women dying while pregnant is abhorrent. This study was done between 2011-2015, that was before Trump became president. nytimes.com/2019/05/07/hea…
9. The unarmed shooting/killing of black people. Yo, BLM was started in 2015, Trump wasn't president then. Obama was. Not one officer was jailed, no AG investigation was started, and BLM has become toothless and dismantled. theguardian.com/us-news/2015/d…
10. Homelessness has been growing at a steady rate. There are professionals living on the streets due to a created housing crisis. One that the govt could easily fix but chooses not to. endhomelessness.org/resource/archi…
I could do at minimum 50 more tweets that would include: Wars, teacher strikes, DAPL protests, ICE and the border crisis, but 10 is enough and I'm trying to go home. The point is, yes, Trump is a pos and I want him out, badly.
I also know he can't do shit on his own and he has plenty of support on both sides and he put an ugly face on shit policies that were ignored. Many people need to be removed from office. Pelosi being near the top of my long list.
Anyone that's trying to get you to focus on Trump ONLY, doesn't give a damn about you, your children, or this planet. America's problems started well before 1/20/2017. It's rotten to the core and will only continue to rot if we don't fix the structural, systemic problems.
