@TwitterSupport has once again suspended the write API for my website.

No more POSSE tweets, no more owning my notes.

Glad to know they are keeping you safe from teachers everywhere while misogyny and hate reign on the platform.
@TwitterSupport I was literally having a conversation about the best pedagogical techniques for teaching "My First Website" I @ mentioned people and orgs actively in the conversation.

This is my third suspension in same number of months.

I don't have time for all the support emails.
@TwitterSupport How hard is it to say..."Hey oh yeah we checked that person out twice...they are fine...don't flag again?"

I don't want to be babysat by some inefficient bot who can't recognize the difference between hate speech and teach speech.

They are very different.
@TwitterSupport It is time to say goodbye to Twitter and choose to support networks that have open apis that allow the open web to flourish?

Tired of companies using their inattentiveness to hate as an excuse to further lock us into silos where out content gets packaged and sold to marketers
@TwitterSupport I think it is. I am done.

This is a painful decision. Twitter is a massive network for educators.

I am losing a huge funnel of ideas, people, students, and colleagues.

I will miss the weekly chats, will just have to start them up again on Mastodon or @microdotblog
