(1,4) Dear Jaime, these photos from your 14th birthday. This is the last birthday that we ever got to spend with you. Today you should be turning 16. We should be celebrating this with a “Sweet 16” party and I should be planning to take you for your drivers test on Monday.
(2,4) Instead, today I will be spending your birthday with you at the cemetery sitting graveside by your tombstone. I miss you with every ounce of my being every second of every day.
(3,4) Today, I will again think about all of the moments that I will never spend with you such as graduations, your first job, walking you down the isle at your wedding, or being a grandparent to your children.
(4,4) Today is a day that I will cry all day. Tomorrow, I will get myself up and continue fighting the evil that did this to you. I LOVE YOU AND AS YOUR DAD I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR YOU!!!

(1,3) Please help @averagejoehondl understand America. In America, you can disagree with the Israel policy of the Congresswoman, which I do strongly disagree with, but support their right to say it. In America, disagreement is not a reason to suggest someone leave the country
(2,3) or to incite racism. What the current occupant of the White House and his minions are doing is to try and make this about Isreal. Please!!! My family and I have been supporters of Israel for a lot longer than he has. This is the slicknes which they operate with.

(2,4) "I inted to break the f--king gun lobby." I did not care about legislators or legislation as they were beholden to this industry. I am so thankful for all of the amazing gun safety advocates whom I have met and worked with in order to get this done.

(1,7) This Sunday will be my second Fathers Day where I will have the great fortune to be a father to Jesse and my two dogs but where I will not be able to escape who I miss, and that is Jaime. For me, I will not be able to celebrate Fathers Day.
(2,7) How could I possibly do so when my day will include a visit to the cemetery to visit my forever 14 daughter? For me, the phrase Happy Fathers Day no longer applies. No need to send me messages saying this. Instead, for me, I will make Fathers Day about my role as a dad.
(3,7) My hope is that all dads will join me and help me to honor our roles as dads, as the protectors of our families. Let's flip Fathers Day and instead of making it about us, lets make it about our love for our families, for our kids. Flip Fathers Day and how it is celebrated.

Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
