1) Every digital marketer is getting screwed royally and so few even know half the ways they are screwed. Take Google, FB, Amazon and Twitter. Let's say you are a marketer paying on a per click basis. Say you pay $1 per click.
2) Every one of these companies KNOWS who clicks on your ad. But does the marketer who pays for the click get the clicker data? Try asking those companies to not just send the traffic your way, but give you the email of who clicked. They ABSOLUTELY could. But they will not.
3) They *say* due to privacy, but this is horse crap. They say they own the CLICK DATA that you paid for. And the screw job gets deeper. They use this click data to target the people you advertised to when selling ads to your competitors.
4) You pay...The media company enriches THEIR user database...they do not give you who clicked...they use that click stream data and will target the people YOU PAID for to use against you. Marketers bend down and ask, "Thank you can I have another" #TheGreatCon
