Roadtrip underway to attend @RebuildsRich's Electrified Garage grand opening in New Hampshire Friday.

I will be taking a circuitous route through long island and Massachusetts to notch up more superchargers. 1/x

2/ the roadtrip is not starting out very fun as I've been driving in this heavy rain the whole way. It appears to be moving at highway speed right along my route.

Autopilot intermittent
Very hard to see
Increased energy consumption

3/ East Brunswick, NJ just before midnight. 16 superchargers at the Brunswick Square Mall.

4/ the Atlantic avenue superchargers near the Barclay Center in Brooklyn. 16 chargers plus L2 chargers. Underground parking at a shopping complex. Nice.

No grace period on the parking though.

5/ Nice to see Tesla clarified their high-usage message to be clear that you can override the restriction if needed.

Departing Southampton, Long island and heading for the Cross island ferry.

6/ By pure luck, I drove up to the Cross Sound Ferry, got a ticket and was the last car to load. Literally zero wait. (•‿•)

7/ Long Island Sound is like glass today but visibility is akin to being in pea soup.

9/ Whoever added these directions for the Cambridge, MA @tesla supercharger to the @plugshare entry, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I don't know how I would have found these without that guidance. 🙏♥️👍

I'm at the Hooksett, NH supercharger (southbound) and am wearing my @Pvillegreen shirt for today's @RebuildsRich event. 😀

11/ The proprietors of the Real Common Man roadside food court at the Hooksett New Hampshire travel plaza chose to package their sandwiches in paper-based containers rather than plastic. Thank you for thinking sustainably. @nhtravelcouncil

12/ The Kennebunk, Maine travel plazas have superchargers both northbound and southbound.

13/ I had an amazing drive up Mount Washington today. The top was in and out of the clouds, which was very cool. Winds were gusting to 50 mph or more.

14/ The West Nyack supercharger at the Palisades Center Mall is huge. 20 stalls, which makes it one of the largest on the East coast.

15/15 (try 2) - Closing this thread with an overview of the road trip. Mount Washington was definitely the highlight by far. Once again, Lenny performed flawlessly. Love the ability to keep climate control on when the car is off.
