Senator Ted Cruz issued a Senate Resolution on July 18, 2019 in order to classify Antifa as a terrorist group due to far-right blogger Andy Ngo getting punched in the face & allegedly having a brain hemorrhage. Cruz interestingly met Proud Boy Chair Enrique Tarrio at CPAC 2019. 
Tarrio also met Donald Trump Jr. at CPAC 2019 and had an opportunity to whine about conservatives' suppression of "free speech" despite his access to powerful political figures.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw had the chance to mingle with Tarrio at the Turning Point USA themed after-party during CPAC as well. Video clips of Crenshaw roundly criticizing Rep. Ocasio-Cortez for her support of Central American refugees has made him famous in the conservative internet.
The Proud Boys are a neo-fascist organization founded by Gavin McInnes, which subscribes to the philosophy of Patrick Buchanan, an anti-Semite who conspiratorially believes Mexican decedents will reconquer the western USA to form a Mexican super-state called Atlazan.
Tarrio posts memes threatening to kill "illegals" (or undocumented, primarily Hispanic immigrants) & commies, which he broadly defines as milquetoast neo-liberals like Nancy Pelosi along with democratic socialists & anarchists.
Tarrio & Mami-Dade County GOP chair Nelson Diaz called Pelosi a communist & threateningly harassed her at an October 17th 2018 campaign event in FL despite the speaker's effort to make conciliatory gestures toward Trump while betraying leftist members of her caucus.
According to Politico, although Nelson Diaz disavowed the Proud Boys and denied their relation to him, Tarrio stated he felt disappointed, since Diaz & the Proud Boys believed in "many of the same things".

Tarrio also likely attended the hard-right American Priority Conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel back in December 2018 in Washington D.C. According to his Facebook check-in status, he arrived on December 6th and remained there until past December 10th.
While at the American Priority Conference, Tarrio met Trump's Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the Trump Washington D.C. hotel on December 7th. Fellow Proud Boy Luke Rohfling & rapist conspiracy theorist Mike Cernovitch stayed at the hotel on December 10th.
APC guests included white nationalist misogynist Stefan Molyneux, who subscribes to a 19th century kind of racism where he believes white peoples' bodies reject organs from other races of humans. Anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer also attended & received an award.

The ostentatiously fascist group Patriot Front also held a demonstration on the National Mall the same day Tarrio met Sarah Huckabee Sanders and likely mingled with other alt-right activists. I could not substantiate whether PF members attended the conference however.
Proud Boy Jacob Engels, the Walk Away Guy, Mike Cernovitch, and Roger Stone spoke at the American Priority Conference as well. Cernovitch even hosted a talk with George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign worker convicted in the Mueller investigation of perjury.
The racist, anti-immigrant organization Numbers USA (founded by white supremacist ophthalmologist John Tanton) even presented at the 2018 American Priority Conference.

Loomer & Tarrio likely used the relationships they cultivated at the American Priority Conference in December 2018 to fund-raise for for Roger Stone's legal defense against the federal government at the Hialeah Republican Club in FL on February 13, 2019.
Roger Stone is an avowed Proud Boy.
Former Florida governor Rick Scott also campaigned at the Hialeah Republican Club and in fact met Tarrio for lunch last year.
The GOP in Oregon has collaborated with militias to shirk their constitutional obligation to remain present during the legislative session.

Furthermore, the Multnomah County GOP chair James Buchal will defend the militia and Proud Boy connected Joey Gibson of Patriot Prayer against a lawsuit levied by the bar Cider Riot after Gibson initiated a violent brawl at the business on May 1st, 2019.

The GOP has emerged as an insurrectionist party which has enthusiastically adopted the ideas of white supremacists like Buchanan in order to maintain the minority rule of rich white men over the majority, even if that means welcoming neo-fascist groups like the Proud Boys.
Nelson Diaz bangs on the door & specifically yells "cowards!" at [1:19-1:20] while Pelosi, her staff, & the staff of FL gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillam bunker down in the building. Gillam was Florida's first black & most left-leaning gubernatorial nominee in state history.
