Chanakya was an ancient Indian teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist and royal advisor. He authored the ancient Indian political treatise, the Arthashastra. Chanakya assisted the first Mauryan emperor Chandragupta in his rise to power.

He is widely credited for having played an important role in the establishment of the Maurya Empire. Chanakya served as the chief advisor to both emperors Chandragupta and his son Bindusara.

In this thread, I will be covering Chanakya Neeti (Learnings, lessons, quotes).
Daily one. Hope all of you will find it useful.
So here is the first one

1. Save money.
But saved money can go to waste if person doesn't has strength & mind and is afraid of hard work.

5 things necessary for a good society
a) rich should lend
b) knowledgeable should give knowledge
c) law and order
d) clean water
e) medicine and doctor

3. When are they tested?
a) loss in business -- workers
b) relationship -- in bad times
c) money trouble -- friends
d) wife -- money problems/ health problems

4. If you think about doing something, don't tell anyone till it is accomplished.

5. Nobody can steal or take knowledge from you.

No son = bad
Death of son = worse
Foolish son = worst

7. One good son better than 100 bad son's

8. Only one bad son can destroy reputation of generations of family.

9. Always remember death is near so engage in good deeds only.

10. Soul in body is just like fragrance in flower.

Keep your enemies engaged in their bad habits.
So no need arises of direct fight.
A person engaged in bad habits will self destruct.

12. Never humiliate a person.

13. Never criticise a person in front of others.

14. Never believe thieves

15. Person should always talk sweetly with others as no wealth is destroyed by talking sweetly.

16. Avoid following
*Bad person's company
*Bad friends
*Foolish person
*Satirical servant

17. Never stay in a place where there is no respect.
But respect cannot give food, so there should also be employment.

18. Good things come with good deeds in previous life. #karma

19. A person is enjoying #heaven on #Earth if children are obedient, spouse is loyal and is satisfied with #wealth.
But if not satisfied with #wealth then will remain devoid of other things also as will always be in #stress

20. Parents must #educate their children. Otherwise #childrens will say that parents didn't care for them.

21. What is more bad?

1st : staying at someone's place as then you have to conduct yourself according to them.

2nd : Youth because one is more in josh (fervour) then hosh (senses)

3rd : Being a fool

22. It is better to be friendless then be friends with persons of dubious quality.

23. One who leaves what is in his hands for something which is uncertain will lose the certain also. Someone else will take it and the certain will also go out of his hands.Whatever is available now, take it. One who leaves the certain for uncertain is foolish.

24. After completion of target, one should not remain there.

25. One should marry one's children in good families which does not only mean money but good character.

26. Out of a bad person and a snake, Snake is better because it will bite only when it is in anger or as self defence whereas bad person will not leave any chance to bite.

27. They do not last long
* Trees near river bank
* King/ Company head without knowledgeable subordinates
* Person living at someone else's place

28. One should engage one's friends in good deeds.

29. One should provide good education to one's children.

30. Existence of illiterate person doesn't matter even if of high caste, is strong, is beautiful/ smart.

31. Foolish person always gives miseries.

32. If existence of one person threatens family, that person can be sacrificed.
If whole village is in danger because of one family, that family can be sacrificed.
If whole country is in danger because of one village, that village can be sacrificed.

Knowledge which is in books but not learnt and money lent to others is of no use as both cannot be utilised at opportune moment

Just like a non poisonous snake keeps its hood up so that people remain afraid of it.
If people know that this snake is not poisonous then people will be cruel towards it.

A person who cannot give punishment to anyone nor care for others.
