It all boils down to two poles:
Fascism - caste system, wealth benefits only a few at top, votes suppressed or thrown out.
Democracy - equality/diversity, wealth benefits whole society, votes encouraged and counted.
Republicans have been drifting fascist for decades.

It’s why we can’t have nice things. Fascism needs a scapegoat group. Republicans don’t want health care, or good pay for jobs, or any other part of a good life, if it means the despised scapegoats can have it too.

Trump has united the Republican Party (those who have not left) in a direction it’s been headed since the ‘60s civil rights movement.
To Trump’s GOP, nothing matters except injuring non-white ppl, and using this scapegoating to justify their own fraud, theft, child rape.

It’s a crime mob, with a deified crime capo at the head, disguised as a form of government.

The only way to understand is to grasp that we “got here” over 5 decades, not just in 2016.
