Neeraj Verma & Rashmi travelled all the way to from #Nagpur to #Sriharikota to witness the historic #Chandrayaan2 take off. I asked them what do they do for a living? Their answer amazed me, We are science activists (vigyaanan sevak) said the couple. Like how? #IndiaMoonMission
The couple travelled more than 1100 KM's to reach #Sriharikota from their village near #Nagpur border to be a part of @isro #Chandrayan2 launch

The couple travelled for more than 20 hours & reached #Sriharikota on 15th July, but the launch was called off in the last minute
They went back to their village & by the time they reached home the next launch date was announced

The couple left home again and travelled all the way back to #Sriharikota just to be there to witness the historic #MoonMission2 launch
Why? Because they just love science & they teach space science for underprivileged children in their village

Neeraj is 12th pass organises camps for children in his village to encourage them to develop love for science, space studies etc.. #IndiaMoonMission
They were carrying a replica of #GSLVMkIII #Chandrayaan2 I asked him who made this and he said he used to deal with science related products & he made these replica using plastic.

I interviewed the couple & as the interview got over. One person approached them...
The person wanted to know from where they got the replica & wanted details about what kind of material was used

The person identified himself as a Deputy Director working for #ISRO & offered him a deal. If a contract is given can he try & produce this product in large quantity?
It all happened too quick & too fast. Neeraj was unable to understand what exactly was happening.

The deputy director who is retiring in 7 days wants to educate children in his village on space science & wanted Neeraj's help to procure these models in large quantities
Numbers were exchanged & Neeraj gifted him the replica of #GSLVMkIII that he made to the Deputy Dir. I hope the DD gives him work as promised.

I asked Neeraj, what will he do with this money?

His answer- I will use this money to promote science among children in my village

In the intervening 2 and a half years I'd almost got to the point of acceptance. I've enjoyed life but no matter how good the night out, how much fun the race, it was still an empty bed I returned to. You persisted in being gone despite how much I told you I missed you.

I've kept things going and I still tidy up and arrange the cushions on the bed as I know you'd like that. I wasn't living though, your memory tied me to a past I could not return to. I done my best for the kids but I'm afraid the garden's a mess, I will sort it.

Until now, the only SEO space where AMP was kind of "mandatory" was on news: if you want to appear on the "Top stories" box, you kind of need to have your articles to use AMP. You can appear there withouth AMP, but you don't get the same visual benefits #AMP #SEO .
Now Google is bringing "Stories" (like Instagram Stories, Snapchat Stories, etc.) to search results. They just announced it at #ampconf (see ) #AMP #SEO
This means that for certain kind of queries (by now: travel, and later also gaming, movies, tv and fashion) the first result will get another "special box" called "Visual Stories" where you can only appear using not only AMP, but AMP stories #AMP #SEO

This reminds me of when I was at @QualcommVenture and the @HoloLens came out in 2016. @sdesh & I conducted our own deep tech investigation on why the FOV of #AR wasn’t full-field, & came away with massive respect for what was accomplished by the @Microsoft team.

So ok thread 1/
We realized that the way #VR gets to full-frame FOV was by warping the lenses between your eyes and the display, “blowing up” the screen by wrapping it around your eyes. You can’t do that with #AR bc then you’d warp the actual world, making it unviewable

So the commonly discussed “dream” of a single headset where you just “drop a black screen behind AR and you get VR” is very far away because the requirements of the two are not as similar as one would expect.
