1. An impeachment for breaking his oath and betraying America to our adversary akin to treason and obstruction voted on by House in the Fall (assuming we have the votes) could just sit there. The 21 @SenateGOP seats then become the prize with time to put good candidates against
2. every GOP Senate seat up in 2020. Make the Senate races a contest about removing Trump if he’s reelected. Call it #FailSafe. It could turn @The Democrates extreme desire to remove Trump into a motivation to run the table in the Senate. And Trump will have been impeached.
3. A smart candidate would ignore it. Trump will obsess on it and become even more unhinged thus driving more middleclass voters away, perhaps to just stay home, thus dooming GOP House and Senate races. So impeach and don’t appoint House Managers. @SpeakerPelosi @RepJeffries

1. In the DC court the New York state litigation counsel responds to what appears to have been a clear act of misrepresentation by the Trump attorneys who may get the advantage of having a rookie judge. If they did what NY says they or Trump should be sanctioned IMO.
2. These emails show the Trump attorneys misrepresented their position. They may claim Trump changed his mind. Not a winner in most cases. I can see why the judge is trying to make it go away.

1. What's behind Trump's recent overt racism strategy? It may simply be Trump in a panic as the truth of his Russian relationship is about to be exposed via tax returns and FBI counterintelligence investigations. But even those facts may not be able to explain what looks like
2. a coherent strategy to make most Americans hate Trump and the GOP. So why would anyone think that is a winning strategy? Then I recalled what appears to me that the Trump rallies are not being well attended. The MAGA who got nothing from Trump are hard to keep engaged.

#Mueller confirms the Russia investigation was NEVER going to indict Trump—b/c a sitting president CANNOT be charged, per OLC. It would be unconstitutional, so NOT AN OPTION, he said. But Trump IS NOT exonerated. UPSHOT: Evidence showed obstruction but Mueller's hands were tied.

Trump's behavior absolutely warrants — even demands — #impeachment. And this is without #Mueller or #CohenTestimony. But the GOP will subvert the Constitution to protect him. And House Dems refuse to do it, even though polls show majority support.

And to the argument that the Senate won't convict, that doesn't matter. The PROCESS of impeachment will affirm that the rule of law still matters, and it can focus the national spotlight on the sheer magnitude of Trump/Pence's corruption.
