We have to ignore the news and stay focused on what we know.
We know there's going to be an election this autumn, and all that matters now is what goes in the manifestos.

The Tories know they can't put a no deal Brexit in their manifesto. They'd be slaughtered. But for the same reason they can't put remain either.
So we know the Tories are going to offer another referendum because they've got no other choice.

Question. what does Labour do after the Tories offer another referendum?
They offer one as well. That will leave the Brexit party to split the Tory vote.

So Labour's best strategy is to offer another referendum as soon as the Tories offer one.
