Hi! This is @RepNeguse 👋 tweeting with LCV to talk about #CleanEnergyForAll in Colorado and across the country.

This is a core issue for me: before taking office, I co-founded the non-profit New Era Colorado to engage youth efforts to #ActOnClimate using clean energy solutions.

In Congress, I am proud to serve on the Select Committee on the @ClimateCrisis and be a member of the climate action based caucus @SEEC. We listen to people across the country who are affected by climate change and develop legislative solutions to tackle the climate crisis.

My home state of Colorado is one of the many states leading on climate action in 2019.

Our state made history when @GovofCO signed a climate package into law to put us on a path to 100% clean energy and that will reduce CO’s carbon pollution 90% by 2050. lcv.org/article/colora…

And Colorado keeps doing more: In @GovofCO’s first 100 days, he signed an order to create electric vehicle standards and appointed #cleanenergy supporters to his administration

Yesterday, I saw some of our state’s clean energy momentum firsthand by touring a renewable lab with my colleagues.

This morning, I had the pleasure of holding our first @ClimateCrisis field hearing in Boulder, CO, where we heard from local leaders about their work to fight climate change.

Ultimately, the work that my home state has done is just the beginning -- this year more than half a dozen states passed major climate legislation with bipartisan support.

On the federal level, I voted for #HR9, the first piece of federal climate legislation to pass in ten years.
