GP Democrats' success in destroying any and all moral and ethical guardrails in society created the conditions for Trump to rise. Enjoy the fruits of your labor, Democrats.
GP Democrats taught generations of American kids that socialism is acceptable, American history is irredeemably racist and corrupt, there is no truth other than yours, and words have no meaning.
GP Democrats destroyed cultural institutions that grounded us with a sense of permanent morals and ethics, such as nearly every mainline Protestant denomination and civic groups like the Elks, etc.
GP Democrats own the entertainment industry which seems solely dedicated to elevating unnecessarily graphic violence, meaningless sex, and anti-authority/American themes.
GP Democrats have built a world where there are no objective morals/ethics, no objective truth, and no fixed meaning other than your personal hot take.
GP And yet Democrats are surprised and angry that this meaningless world where evil is good, men are women, and all whites are necessarily racist oppressors elected a vain, mean, immoral president.

GP Perhaps if Democrats had learned their history and literature, they'd be familiar with such concepts as "sow the wind, reap the whirlwind."
GP If conservatism is about anything, it's about being suspicious of jettisoning structures, ideals, and ethical/moral constructs that have existed for centuries or millennia.

GP Too many Americans don't understand our common ideological heritage or history. Too many Americans lack the core knowledge to assess news, events, and arguments and think critically about each's merit.
GP So naturally we get conservatives eager to chuck the concept of traditional marriage under the bus, compromise with Democrats on constitutional rights, and spend Millennials, Gen Z, and future generations into oblivion.
GP Conservatism cannot exist in a world where everyone believes he himself is the greatest good in the world. Everything must exist to serve this good so it's incumbent on society to chuck any stricture, rule, or convention that inhibits his ability to do whatever tf he wants.
GP Conservatism requires the personal ability to delay gratification for the greater good of the individual, the community, the nation, and the world.
Democrats have effectively destroyed the institutions that instilled this belief and this ability.

GP And that is how Democrats created the president now driving them even further out of their minds (and to the Left) than they ever have been.
GP Soon, the world Democrats have created will drive them to advocate fascism and repression, Animal Farm style, for the greater good. Many on that side of the aisle are already there, loudly and proudly.

GP I guess my conclusion is this: Democrats have created this dystopian world where a man like Trump can become president and turn every dirty trick Democrats have ever pulled on Republicans against Democrats.
GP And I for one will not hear them complain of it. Democrats created this mess. Let them suffer along with the rest of us.
