It is also a degenerate modern idea that males cannot have friendship without sexual attraction.

A thing I HATE about modernity. ANY idea or kind of love is SEXUALIZED: friendship most of all.
Instead of recognizing EROS as one kind of love—and a very dangerous and volatile one—moderns think all love is a subclass of EROS.
Or flatten it to “love is love."

I don’t even like the word “friendship.”
It is too weak a word. The phenomenon is one of LOVE and can be as deep and profound as conjugal love between a husband and wife.
But to SEXUALIZE it is to deeply corrupt it.
