Short answer is yes.

I think that the convergence of the BTC & macro narratives has to do with the polar oppositeness of BTC's 'unforgeable scarcity' as compared to MMT.

The stock to flow idea discussed by @saifedean and modeled out by @100trillionUSD give it substance.
And the discussion of his work by @DTAPCAP and @RaoulGMI certainly helped shine a light. Shared below for those who haven't seen

2/ The two poles of the week were Binance announcing Venus - a regionalized, government collaborative version of Facebook’s Libra - and Bank Of England Mark Carney’s stunning proposal for a "Synthetic Hegemonic Currency” to replace USD as the global reserve currency.
3/ Binance’s announcement of Venus was almost subdued. Blog posts went live Sunday, and interestingly, the blog post in Chinese was a much fuller statement, more defiant and directed in its invocation of transforming a new financial era.

One of the more challenging problems in reinforcement learning is referred to as the explore-exploit dilemma. It refers to the tradeoff we face when we have to decide whether to repeat a past choice or explore a new opportunity.
In noisy environments where you can never be especially certain about the value of anything, we know from seminal studies by @nathanieldaw, @BecketEbs, and others that prefrontal cortex is important for switching between states of exploration and exploitation.
