I'm watching a 1.5 hr long movie from the people behind the fake Boston Antifa account. At the high point of their monster troll, they started geotagging their tweets to Russia (they're from Oregon) and the "Russian" tweets traveled to some far flung places. Starting with @jbarro

Then @ShaneGoldmacher (Business Insider), @NickRiccardi (AP), @bungdan (Christian Science Monitor)

The "Russian troll" tweet was on the front page of @reddit

They got an entire segment on All in with @chrislhayes complete with interviews from Russian experts @NaveedAJamali & @MalcolmNance.

The troll tweet even made it to Congress! @SenatorLankford described the tweet and its Take a knee/NFL protest-related hashtags as "the Russians and their troll farms and their internet folks" pitting Americans against each other.

Then Senator Lankford was quoted in @washingtonpost via @DevlinBarrett

The troll tweet got a mention on Fox News. This was the second time the fake Boston Antifa made a Fox News appearance btw. 2nd pic is their interview request from earlier in the movie.

Finally @mtaibbi called it out as a fake in @RollingStone: rollingstone.com/politics/polit… Although the names in that article are different than what's given in the movie. Maybe they gave fake names? Who can keep track at this point.

Still the fake Boston antifa "Russian" tweet continued to circulate with "a shitload of celebrities and different verified people on Twitter" like @SarahKSilverman, @RealRonHoward. @GovHowardDean, @RobTornoe and @NaveedAJamali again.

There's more but I'm gonna end this thread soon. Did anyone in this thread retract these articles/reports/tweets/congressional testimony??? 🤔😑

PS: a certain disinfo researcher fell for a different fake antifa troll geotagged to Russia long after this trash fire but I digress.

Meanwhile here are the creators of the 1st fake antifa Boston account. 2 young shitposters from Oregon. I don't know who has been operating the rest of them, probably they don't either. Anyway here's their movie:

Oh and I had someone calling the fake antifa Portland account a "Russian Op" this past weekend in my mentions. It's never gonna end is it.
