Remember how police pursued Matthew Bernard, a naked White man suspected in a triple homicide, on a wild chase a few days ago & apprehended him safely?

Well this is how a DA justified police shooting & killing Marcus-David Peters, not a suspect in a crime, also naked, but Black.
This is what police did to Mr. Peters. No criminal charges were brought against the officers. The family intend to bring a civil rights lawsuit against the city. washingtonpost.com/news/post-nati…
The twitter handle @JusticeforMDP is run by Mr. Peter's sister, Princess Blanding, so please check out her page for more information about his case and the family's fight for justice.

And just for context, here's the arrest of Mr. Bernard a few days ago.
@JusticeforMDP PS. The most ridiculous line in the justification for the shooting. Police determined Mr. Peters was a threat to himself - so they shot and killed him?
@JusticeforMDP I am going to write a thread about Marcus-David Peters later, but in the meantime, I did want to share this photo of him at his university graduation, especially since The Washington Post chose to run with the photo they did.
