this is absolutely wild. first the judge refused the PROSECUTOR’S motion to dismiss and now they’ve taken a defense attorney into custody for arguing that was unlawful.
this judge is out of control.

i personally witnessed over a third of the arrests at saturday’s police riot in boston. none of the arrests i witnessed were lawful to begin with. that they are still holding these people is state violence. that they have ARRESTED THEIR LAWYER is beyond belief.
i’m genuinely at a loss here. i know that our criminal justice system is functioning as designed when it criminalizes & crushes dissent. i was upset but not surprised when those cops brutalized us. i know judges side with cops & tend to be regressive. but this is something else.
i know the state will never be on our side. i know impartiality is a myth. i know the system is rigged. i know these things. and yet i’m stunned at this unashamed display of authoritarian disregard for even the PRETENSE of constitutionality.
