1/ There must be no national vote until the results of the police and NCA investigations into electoral malpractice are completed and any trials concluded. We need to know whether Arron Banks' £8.5m was legal, and whether any senior politicians or advisors have committed crimes.
2/ Additionally before any national vote we need legislation to bolster our defences against electoral malpractice such as those in 2016. We need the Electoral Commission beefed-up, jail sentences for serious offences, and a special police task force involved from the start.
3/ So before a general election or Peoples Vote we need a unity government to ensure the investigations into electoral crime in 2016 are completed, to determine whether there was a cover-up, and to bolster our electoral defences.
