I’m Kaitlin, @Dermstore’s Community Manager 🙋🏼‍♀️

I get to try a lot of skin care products as part of my job.

Who wants to know what I’m currently loving?

Okay, here goes! I’m 28, and I have dry skin (leans more “normal” in the warmer months). My skin tone is fair/light, and there’s a history of skin cancer in my family. My biggest concerns are dryness, dullness, dark circles, and prevention (of both signs of aging & sun damage).
Starting with cleansers. I’ll use an oil cleanser if I wore makeup during the day. Currently into @bosciaskincare MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil. It smells really nice and fresh—I think it’s the basil extract that stands out—and does a good job of removing everything.
@bosciaskincare My go-to second cleanser is @sanitasskincare Lemon Cream Cleanser. Sanitas is a great clean brand, and they only use natural fragrance in the products that don’t stay on your skin (cleansers, scrubs, masks). This cleanser smells SO good, and it’s really hydrating.
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare 🍊I’ve been using vitamin C every day since starting at @dermstore and fallen in love with two. The first is @sundayriley C.E.O. Vitamin C Brightening Serum. It's more like a lightweight moisturizer and has a pump dispenser so it's the easiest to apply, which counts for a lot.
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley The second vitamin C serum I’d buy again is @dermalogica BioLumin-C Serum. It’s super hydrating and not sticky, and my skin looks so radiant when I use this every day. ✨
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica Moisturizers: All-time favorite is @luzernlabs Force De Vie Pure Oxygen Lotion. All of their moisturizers/creams are just so lovely (I honestly never use that word, but it seems like the best descriptor), but this is a great everyday one. It’s just a little on the pricey side.
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica @LuzernLabs My recent, and more wallet-friendly, favorite moisturizer is @paulaschoice Omega+ Complex Moisturizer. Such a unique texture (lightweight and airy, yet rich) and keeps my skin happy all day long (also great at night, too).
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica @LuzernLabs @PaulasChoice Face oil: I tend to use face oils at night instead of a cream, and my skin looooooves @eminenceorganic Rosehip Triple C+E Firming Oil. It smells, feels, and works wonderfully.
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica @LuzernLabs @PaulasChoice @EminenceOrganic Speaking of @eminenceorganic, I also got hooked on their Stone Crop Hydrating Mist when I went to the @Dermstore Spa. My skin was reacting weird to something (not sure what; it’s usually not sensitive), and this helped calm it down. I now keep it in my purse all the time!
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica @LuzernLabs @PaulasChoice @EminenceOrganic Oh! Can't forget eyes. I've finally been seeing some improvement around my eyes (dark circles, always looking tired) from consistent day + night use of @SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex. 🙌
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica @LuzernLabs @PaulasChoice @EminenceOrganic @SkinCeuticals Also for the eyes: @skynICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. They're not messy, they stay put, and they feel really nice. Love them for multi-masking at night or at the end of a long flight.
@bosciaskincare @sanitasskincare @Dermstore @sundayriley @dermalogica @LuzernLabs @PaulasChoice @EminenceOrganic @SkinCeuticals @skynICELAND Almost forgot about the most important thing—SPF! 🙀 I don't think I will ever like anything more than @Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40. It doesn't smell, look, feel, or apply like a normal sunscreen, so it's basically everything I've ever wanted.
If you want to know what a good, consistent skin care routine can do, here’s my skin with no makeup (just a coat of mascara) and no filter!

*Disclaimer: I’ve also been *blessed* with only the rare breakout + few issues aside from extreme dryness. I credit a lot to genetics, too.
Completely forgot about exfoliation yesterday! I alternate nights between A) @RENskincare Ready Steady Glow AHA Tonic + @sundayriley Good Genes and B) @SkinCeuticals Glycolic 10. They all really help address dullness without drying my skin out.
