Thread on what really happened in 2016, according to Dominic Cummings. I don't have many followers, pls RT

It's not Right/Wrong. It's Justice & Reconciliation
Lots of detail to show quotes aren't manipulated. Others can summarise
We all lost due to this ERG fiasco. Let's recover
When Boris Johnson hired Cummings into Downing Street, he did us all a much larger favour than you may have realised.

Dominic, love him or loathe him, is an intelligent man who explains his thoughts in detail. No one seems to have summarised these. Odd, so we will
I've been angry about Brexit for a long time. But I think what makes me most angry is the failure to admit the largest political FnCK up of all time. Ambiguities could have been resolved through public debate, we chose instead to set the people on each other like dogs. Despicable
So let's get into it.
THE no 1 lie. Single Market - we knew what we were voting for
Nope, neither did politicians, press, or anyone else.
That should have driven almighty "whoops", and a public debate on a flawed referendum.
Instead ERG barreled tories on, creating a civil war
We don't have crimes for political or press lies;
convenient, because those lies have been ruinous to our society.

But where then honour? duty? integrity?

We messed up, "Hey - elite class, time to be adults and admit it. Are you listening?" Are they heck. Die in a ditch first.
So many shrills - respect the will of the people. Good, respect does not mean a bunch of sociopathic out of touch bastards reinterpreting it to claim something other than what they voted for.

So what then was the EURef about? Fall off your chair. Almost nothing to do with the EU
Hong Kong - People unite to fight for parliamentary democracy against a state dictatorship
UK - People are perfidiously divided enabling a coup against a parliamentary democracy.

But the demands below are sooooo boring. We need glitz and conflict, not what the people want
Respect the vote, largest democratic voice in history, would have gone perfectly if remainers hadn't messed it up?
Of course, all manipulations made after the event. A wedge to cut through our society. To damage you and me. It was a marginal mess with a tiny win.
Respect - that word has been chewed up and abused more than any word in the "Brexit" lexicon. By those who have no idea what it means.

It's time to re-establish that respect is a companion of consent. If you abuse consent, by gerrymandering results you should not expect respect
We can see this "lack of respect" in the "evolution" of the 2016 referendum interpretation. There was no consent in any of these reinterpretations. They were simply mandated and the people wound up to defend them.
There's a different word for that, it's not democracy.
Ken Clarke calls this lack of "respect" game playing. He's kind, I call it deliberate incitement to violence, or an attempt to drive societal unrest to cover up fraudulent electoral interpretation.

Whatever it is, it is not modern democracy, that other word still applies
Section One Summary.

I find myself asking how on earth our apparently Democratic country has found itself on a 3 year path of division, derision and decrying of opponents.

A Government of National Unity? Certainly, but we also need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission
Lots more to come from the Cummings diaries. In Section 2 we'll look at some ways Cummings suggests solving these fractures, by reverse engineering how he proposed to create them.

Whatever playbook this is, it's not Democracy, we need new words. Urgently
