Shouldn't be newsworthy but such are our days... would in turn mean that no-deal preparations for October are far less important, and the next five weeks are mostly a political holiday. We presume followed by a Queens Speech to announce the Conservative Party election manifesto.
Many outstanding questions - length of extension (3 months for election doesn't sound enough), election (does Johnson want an 'I failed, I'll succeed next time' election), party positions on Brexit (both Labour and Conservative under pressure to lose ambiguity)
If there was any doubt before, an extension is also the end of hopes of a quick comprehensive US trade deal, more because of US politics and their 2020 election than anything else (and bear in mind expiry of US Trade Promotion Authority to President in July 2021)
Above all of course we await any coherent vision of future UK-EU relations, all options having been ruled out by UK (remain, no-deal, EEA, Customs Union) or both (Swiss hybrid, FTA in reality given the conditions that would be attached).
Brexit only ends when there is a reasonable cross-party consensus on a realistic future relationship that replaces EU membership, or on not leaving at all
