- #DemDebate winners to me were Beto and Booker. They needed the biggest boost tonight to stay alive. Beto was praised openly by other candidates including Biden & Harris for his leadership. He also had one of the best lines: ""Hell yes we are going to take your AR-15!" 2/
Beto also had solid answers on gun control and America's systemic racism. He supported Reparations, called out Trump's white supremacy & shouted out #1619. Booker likewise was impressive in his answers, like usual, and can easily be someone's VP 3/ #DemDebate
#DemDebate Winners also included President Obama, who had the best night, Spanish and anyone who had "Wizard of Oz" reference on their Bingo.

#DemDebate Losers to me were Kamala Harris, who didn't break through like she needed, even though she was the most aggressive against Trump, had some powerful lines but many awkward moments. The Yang moment...has passed. "I am Asian so I know a lot of doctors." UGH. 5/
Castro's dig on Biden is going to cost him, came off as too mean spirited. But I appreciate his mention of Uighurs. I don't see Castro gaining momentum as Presidential candidate. #DemDebate 6/
Buttigieg is always smart, thoughtful but I think Beto & Booker took the spotlight from him tonight. Biden fumbled after a strong first hour. His answer on Afghanistan & Race was just painful, awkward and almost incomprehensible but he was great in the first hour. #DemDebate 7/
Democrats best moments came in their response to gun control, which is one of the leading issues for Dem voters. Most of America is for it, whereas Trump and Mitch will do nothing. Also, pay attention to the applause for cancelling student debt! #DemDebate
