The baldly-stated argument "I consider myself fully authorized to murder law enforcement officers and have clearly fantasized about doing so," offered as a reason to let the speaker KEEP their weapons, will never fail to be shocking on some level.
What percentage of trucks with a "blue lives matter" flag decal contains an owner who for all their reverence of authority has also dreamed about murdering law enforcement officers in some hypothetical future when the law no longer favors them? because the answer is 100%

What did people do to you?

Did they separate you from your children? Pack you into cages? Argue in court to keep you from showers and toothbrushes? Give you a toilet for water?

Did they send you to a country you don’t know? Did they leave you to die?

If you are an ICE agent, you are willingly active or at least complicit in enacting a domestic campaign of terror that excites the very worst of human nature, and emboldens the monsters among us, everywhere.

Once again, the Republican answer to the question: “Did Bret Kavanaugh sexually assault Christine Blasey Ford and others, then lie under oath in his confirmation hearings?” isn’t “yes” or “no,” but rather “who gives a shit.

For supremacists, it’s all about the right to impunity.
Watch them all find a reason, given new facts that have come to light, to not give a shit.

It won’t take long. Any reason will do. In fact, a specious reason is often preferable, as it underscores the fact that it was never about the reason—it was about not needed a reason.
For the Republican Party—as for any supremacist group—freedom is the freedom to never be asked to give a shit about the effects of your actions upon anyone, in full expectation of protection under the law, with full entitlement to undiminished professional and social standing.

Every judge Trump appointed has to be purged, and any Democrat who won't sign up to do it has to be replaced by one who will.
The legal grounds is that Congress is empowered to impeach federal judges.

Get the votes in Congress then purge the judges.

Being appointed by Trump is disqualifying.

At the outset of the #Brexit process, most people assumed that a deal on #police and #judicial co-operation was easier to get than one on #trade. Time has shown this is not the case. Ongoing co-op on #JHA is one of the few items yet to be agreed on #withdrawal deal. Why?
Well, because the #EU and #UK's opening positions in the #negotiation are incompatible: Britain wants a #bespoke agreement with the EU, a la #Schengen, but is not willing to accept #ECJ or #EUCharter. EU wants to replicate existing models. What to do?
