Stop blaming yourself for being hungry particularly when you are in front of food. This is not the problem. This is natural. It happens to any animal.

You have two options as far as I see it...

1) focus on removing yourself from food if you aren’t hungry, go outside, go do something else...

2) if you are compelled to eat, eat meat, fish, chicken, seafood, eggs, cheese, yogurt, low carb veggies/fruit... you want foods that will leave you full for hours, u can still “win” on the backend by being full for hours

Bottom line:

Being hungry in front of food is normal
Eating food when triggered by it being in front of you is normal
Strategies to win include:
removing the stimulus to eat (being in front of food)
Eating satiating foods (which is winning on the back end)
