Raises the old question - Does "Pakistan" refer to a piece of land? Or broadly the history of Islam in India?
If it's the former, a history of Pakistan should also include Rig Veda, Pāṇini's grammar etc

ALso little interest in personages like Pāṇini the grammarian, or Kautilya the Mauryan statesman or Vasubandhu the Buddhist philosopher
People still visit the Red Fort, Taj Mahal for tourism. We glorify the reigns of Islamic kings like Akbar - much to the chagrin of the Right
It has implications for issues like Kashmir
Pakistan sees itself as the flagbearer of Islamic culture in "India"
While India at best sees itself as a secular state (at best with a Hindu slant)
But India is a Hindu country. Not a Hindu state. Which has never accepted the two-nation theory unlike Pakistan
