UPDATE: SDNY released Trump's lawsuit against NY DA Cy Vance (it's still not in PACER). Trump's lawyers argue the grand jury subpoena for his tax returns is invalid because a sitting president can't be prosecuted, and that extends to "criminal process"

UPDATE #2: A judge will hear arguments on Trump's motion for a temporary restraining order blocking NY DA Cy Vance's grand jury subpoena for Trump's tax returns on Sept. 25. Vance's office agreed to delay enforcing the subpoena in the meantime.

NOW: A federal judge ruled eight years of Trump's tax returns must be turned over to a grand jury.

Trump's immunity argument was "repugnant to the nation's governmental structure and constitutional values," the judge wrote.

Trump has already appealed.
